Education is at the core of everything we do. The ultimate goal of The Eden Alternative is to inspire and empower care partner teams to achieve successful application of person-directed practices across the continuum of care. As we face the reality of a health care system that is ill-prepared to meet the needs of a growing aging population, improving the quality of care is a responsibility we all must share. Our offerings are designed to help organizations and individuals revolutionize the culture of aging and care in their organizations and in their wider communities.

What to expect

Attending an Eden training means you can expect the very latest information on Eden Principle-based culture change presented by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Eden Educator.

Your Eden Educator will present a clear picture of the Eden Principles and how they apply to you. Questions will be welcomed and those that apply to a broad base of participants may be discussed during the session.

Each class as an agenda that allocates time to those topics most essential to its purpose while allowing time to develop the tools you will need to share the information when you are back in the workplace.

What will you take away from an Eden class

Each training takes its own unique view of the obstacles you may encounter and the pathways available to go through, around or over them. Be it regulatory, financial, dietary or some other real or perceived bump in the road to person centered care, there is a solution and The Eden Alternative is there to help you find it.
