Liz - I don't know if this will be helpful, but at our home the teams worked on scheduling their meetings with the help of the neighborhood coordinator which was an RN that supported the neighborhood. They varied their meeting time so that all 3 shifts could attend. When the meetings were during the day, our Clinical Team would come to the neighborhood to provide some relief coverage so the bulk of the neighborhood workers could be a part of the meeting. It was rewarding to know that we (the Clinical Team)played a small part in helping grow the neighborhoods.
Our home used a facilitated meeting process, the team set their own agenda and used the time to make sure everyone knew what issues they were working on and to set new goals.
Hope that is helpful, Denise Hyde
