The Fairbanks Home is nestled in 16 beautiful acres of birch and spruce trees, convenient to the local senior center next door. This favorable location allows residents the opportunity to be involved in a variety of activities outside, but near the Home. Both staff and residents take great pride in maintaining the wonderful flower, herb and vegetable gardens that are part of the Pioneer Home campus. The Assisted Living license for the Fairbanks Home is 93 residents and the average age is 87. Our staff is trained to care for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. They know that affection, compassion, and dignity is at the core of every meaningful day. The Home is staffed with approximately 120 dedicated employees. They are committed to assisting residents and their families as they transition into becoming a resident of the Pioneer Home community. As a registered Eden ® Home, the staff are serious about their role of engaging and sharing the lives of residents. It is apparent in the incorporation of children, pets, and plants into the residential environment.
