Pines
of Sarasota is a charitable non-profit
community dedicated to providing to adults with limited
resources excellent care encompassing health, social, and
support services and programs which enhance quality of life
in a residential setting.
Pines is operated in
accordance with the Article of Incorporation, Certificate of
Re-Incorporation, Bylaws, and IRS rules as a 501(c)(3)
corporation.

Since 1948 Pines
of Sarasota has addressed the needs of the elderly
Sarasota population that are in poor health and have limited
financial resources. No longer just for the aging population, today
Pines serves those adults of any age from Sarasota or Manatee
Counties
who have specialized nursing care needs. Three levels of
compassionate nursing care including Assisted
Living, Intermediate and Skilled Nursing, and a secured 45-bed
Alzheimer's Unit are provided for 300 men and women. A small community
in itself, the 13-acre campus with its covered walkways and open
spaces houses 10 buildings including a library, therapy
center, childcare center, hair care shop, and an arts and crafts
center.
