As an Embracing Elderhood (EE) Certified Trainer, you are empowered to coordinate an ongoing Embracing Elderhood project in your organization or community. Over time, your certification also makes it possible for you to facilitate EE Recording Partner Workshops and to continue training new volunteers and/or students who will serve as Recording Partners to the Elder Storytellers that participate in your project. Making legacy creation an ongoing part of your organizational or community culture shows your commitment to promoting sensitive, connected intergenerational communities no matter where an Elder lives.

Prospective trainers must attend all 2 1/2 days of their workshop experience in order to be certified as Embracing Elderhood Certified Trainers. Facilitated by Eden at Home Educators, our 2 ½ day format for the Embracing Elderhood Trainer Certification Workshop looks like this:
Day 1: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including lunch
Day I of Recording Partner Workshop content
Day 2: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including lunch
Day II of Recording Partner Workshop content
Day 3: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Facilitation Intensive: Skill-building & Q&A
