How to Be an EAH Host Site... PDF Print E-mail
We are planning our 2008 Eden at Home (EAH) Workshop Schedule.  Be a host site for one of our 2 ½ day Trainer Certification Workshops in 2008 and join the revolution that is reinventing how we care for our Elders and for each other in our communities. Hosting sites are needed for both versions of the Eden at Home Series:

1) Creating Quality of Life for Care Partner Teams, or
2) Creating Quality of Life for Care Partners Living with Dementia

Benefits to hosting organizations include:
vegetable_gardens
  • Scholarship (free) slots in the EAH workshop you host;
  • No travel costs for your staff to attend our training, enabling more staff to attend; and
  • Defining your organization as a change agent around the culture of care in your community.

Hosting sites provide the following in return for scholarship slots:
  • A venue for the workshop (in your own location, a local church, community center or other place suitable for holding a training event);
  • Audio Visual equipment;
  • Lunch and break refreshments; and
  • Local leads for promoting the workshop.

We will:
  • Market the training with the assistance from the hosting organization;
  • Respond to phone/email requests for information;
  • Develop and post flyers, and promote the training on the Eden web site;
  • Receive and track registration forms;
  • Send confirmation letters;
  • Provide all educational materials;
  • Receive payments;
  • Arrange for a Certified Eden at Home Educator to conduct the training; and
  • Send necessary supplies, manuals and texts to the venue site (excluding the few supplies that the hosting homes are asked to provide).

For organizations interested in promoting creative approaches to empowering care partners out in their community, this is an opportunity to learn what Eden at Home has to offer, without leaving home to do it!  If you are interested in being a host site, please contact Laura Beck at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or (607) 351-3082.
