 Want to empower and support care partners in your community? Become an Eden at Home Certified Trainer! Certified Eden at Home Trainers are empowered to conduct Eden at Home Care Partner Workshops , sponsored by the organizations they represent, in their communities. In the spirit of shared learning and ongoing support, we also offer replicating organizations a framework for creating follow-up gatherings for both care partners who attend their Eden at Home workshops and EAH trainers.
Who should participate? Representatives -- staff and/or volunteers -- from non-profit organizations, state agencies, home-health organizations, faith-based organizations, Area Agencies on Aging, community organizations, senior centers, and long-term care organizations with home health outreach or an interest in supporting the ongoing needs of short-term patients.
Each version of the Eden at Home Series has its own distinct trainer certification workshop. Hosting organizations decide which version of our trainer certification workshop they would like offer to prospective trainers in their regional area. Prospective trainers must attend all 2 1/2 days of their workshop  experience in order to be certified as Eden at Home Certified Trainers for the organizations that they represent. Workshop participants receive a step-by-step Trainer’s Guide and sample materials. They also receive our Replication Guide to support project success. Facilitated by Eden at Home Educators, our 2 ½ day format for the EAH Trainer Certification Workshop looks like this: Day 1: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including lunch Session I of Care Partner Workshop content Session II of Care Partner Workshop content Day 2: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including lunch Session III of Care Partner Workshop content Session IV of Care Partner Workshop content Day 3: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Facilitation Intensive: Skill-building and Q&A Click here for a list of scheduled Trainer Certification Workshops for Eden at Home: Creating Quality of Life for Care Partner Teams (our General Version).
