Open Hearts, Open Minds Training
Open the hearts and minds of your staff, elders, families, and communities when our Eden Educators introduce groups of up to 25 participants to the Eden Principles in this intense four hour training. The purpose is to reach critical mass for awareness of Eden and the Principles. Once hearts are opened, minds will follow.
Leadership Training
Leadership is the key to deep organizational transformation. If leadership falters, all journeys come to an end. Be enlightened and inspired as our Eden Educators take you down the Ten Leadership Pathways to a successful Eden journey. Over the course of two days you will develop leadership skills necessary for Eden Transformation. The pathway and skills are rooted in the Ten Principles of the Eden Alternative.
Pathway of Growth - Action Planning
Eden Principle #9 is the cornerstone of the Pathway of Growth training. Human growth should never be separated from human life. Growing yourself, your team, your organization, and the Elders can be a challenge in the complex world of long-term care. This two day workshop will introduce the GROWTH model as a tool to help you become an expert gardener in changing the culture of care in your home.
Eden at Home Series Trainer Certification
Join the revolution that is reinventing how we care for our Elders and for each other at home and in our communities! Over 2 1/2 days, you will learn how the Eden at Home Series applies the power of the Eden's ten principles to improving quality of life for Elders living at home and their care partners. We promote a culture of meaningful care in our communities that does not see the needs of caregivers as separate from the needs of care receivers, but rather advocates for the well-being of the whole care partnership. Working together, empowered care partner teams help to ensure the independence, dignity, and continued growth and development of our elder care partners. The Eden at Home Series offers either a general version or a dementia-specific version. As a Certified EAH Trainer in either version, you will be empowered to conduct Eden at Home Care Partner Workshops in your local community.
Embracing Elderhood Trainer Certification
The inspiration behind Eden at Home's Embracing Elderhood is the notion that to truly care for someone, you must have a deeper understanding and appreciation of who they are. Learning each other’s stories helps us forge meaningful intergenerational relationships. Through the filter of the Eden principles, Embracing Elderhood strives to change our culture’s perception of Elderhood one relationship at a time. Via our 2 1/2 day Trainer Certification Workshop, you will be empowered to conduct Embracing Elderhood projects in your local community.
