Eden’s Got Talent

2018 Eden’s Got Talent Contest

Friday, May 4, 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Seems like just yesterday we were introduced to Eden’s Got Talent contestants at the 2016 Eden Alternative International Conference. Those individuals and groups “rocked the stage,” and the audience opened their hearts to each performance. They danced, they sang, they told jokes, and for a few hours the conference participants happily cheered them on as they reached towards having fun and winning the top prize.

It’s time to discover who will showcase their talents at the 2018 Eden Alternative International Conference. Eden’s Got Talent is looking for singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers of all ages to share their talents. Our slightly less-than-celebrity judges will help us name our First Place winner who will receive a $500 cash prize. Our Second Place Winner receives $250, and our Third Place Winner walks away with $150.

Take the time to submit your application by email and join in the fun. Each of us has unique talents and abilities and this evening of food, fun, and entertainment is designed to provide you the opportunity to strut your stuff.

How do I apply for Eden’s Got Talent?

Send an email to Dale Nicholson at dale@IN2L.com expressing your desire (and the following information) to participate no later than March 1, 2018. Your email should include the following:

  • Your name
  • Are you an Elder and/or an employee care partner?
  • Your organization
  • City and state
  • Your equipment needs
  • Will you perform live or wish to submit a videotaped performance
  • Song title, as applicable

Please ONLY ONE entry per organization. Each act should not exceed five minutes in length. Applications are first come, first served! We are choosing approximately 15 acts, so get your applications in as soon as possible!

We need to hear from you no later than March 1, 2018.

Since individual organizations are asked not to submit more than one act, you might wish to hold your own event to select who will bring their act to the conference event. Have some fun with this—make it a community-building opportunity!
