Leadership is the ability to influence others to follow you in a positive direction. Leadership is not just for the formal leadership team. An environment of culture change GROWS leaders from all layers. We’ve watched leaders emerge from many places at (your home's name). Certified Eden Associates are looked upon to help LEAD our home through the process of transformation, although a “title” does not necessarily make one a leader. Leadership and management are two different animals. Managers work, maintain and repair systems. Leaders are principled, participative and show people what needs to be accomplished. Leaders jump into the ditch with the diggers—they work with, be with, empower, encourage teamwork, help others to grow and model all of the aforementioned incessantly. Anyone can become a leader. To determine if your leadership skills and persona are developing, simply ask yourself the question, “Who is following me?” and then turn around and look. “Great leaders show people, they don’t just tell them.” |
