Culture change leaders have identified that the most essential ingredient for success is strong leadership. Leadership is a skill set, just as management is. Through this intensive 2-day training, participants will learn how to influence others to move in a positive direction via principle-based empowerment and decision-making. This training builds on the insights offered through Principle Ten of the Eden Alternative Philosophy.
Participants will:
- Identify leadership strengths needed to guide a culture change journey;
- Practice leadership skills that will improve performance;
- Learn how to create a shared vision to guide the organization; and
- Return with resources, tools and information to grow other leaders
Who should take this training?
Representatives of long-term care communities that:
- Have already sent some team members to Certified Eden Associate Training;
- Are committed to ongoing skill development that supports their culture change journey; and
- Recognize the vital role of wise leadership in the successful delivery of person-directed care.
