RidgeOak Living Program announces its status as a Registered Eden Alternative home. Eden Alternative is committed to redefining the experience of assisted living for the aging, disabled, and the caregivers who work in these environments by creating nurturing ”human habitats” that promote continuous growth and eliminate the plagues of Loneliness, Helplessness, and Boredom. Historically, Eden Alternative has proven to be a powerful tool for enhancing quality of life for Elders. With this Registration, RidgeOak becomes the first residential living program for persons with cognitive disabilities to be recognized as an Eden Alternative Home.
