People matter most. This session presents an approach to leadership that offers proven, practical strategies participants can immediately implement to achieve staff stability, trigger a boost in employee morale and catalyze person-directed care.   The actions of leaders play a significant role in creating organizational success.  Staff stability and engagement is the foundation for clinical quality and individualized care.  Through case studies, exercises, presentation and discussion, participants will learn and exchange key strategies to consistently deliver what people want – individualized, person-directed care delivered by focused, compassionate people.

  2. Identify 3 concrete strategies for assessing and developing staff’s relational and leadership skills.
  3. Define the link between person-directed leadership and the delivery of person-directed care and how to transform routine quality assurance meetings into engines for organizational improvement by broadening your scope of key performance metrics.
