The Paul Oliver Hospital LTC in Frankfort, MI renewed their Eden Registry status on January 19, 2010. They are home to 40 Elders and attached to their community hospital. They are doing some small changes to update the physical environment including some new wooden flooring. They have plans to do some painting as well. Children from the child care center at the hospital come over daily to spend time with the Elders and engage in some fun activities. The Elders determine their daily schedule including when they get up for breakfast, what they eat and what events will fill their day with meaning. It is not unusual to find family and friends joining the Elders for meals or to find Elders cooking in the kitchen in the activity room. This is a small community where relationships are at the heart of daily life.
