Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly, CO renewed their Eden Registry status on May 26, 2011. They are home to 45 Elders and have divided their community into two neighborhoods. There is consistency of relationships within the neighborhoods. When you enter the home you come right into a living room area complete with big screen TV. Ahead you will see the Craft Shack which the Elders run to raise money for their Christmas event. Some of the Elders make crafts to sell in there like birdhouses, bird feeders, chimes, quilts and blankets. Of course, you can purchase a quick snack in there as well. You will see the lovely sunroom filled with light and plants that the Elders take care of. It also has a computer that the Elders like to use to do some virtual sightseeing and play Farmville. As you stroll down Village neighborhood you will enjoy viewing Zella's gallery of paintings that she has done. They offer restaurant style dining 24 hours a day. The Elders get up when they choose so there is a much slower pace to the home. Breakfast is available all morning long from a big, restaurant style menu, all cooked to order. Gardening is a fun pastime as is music, especially Fiddling Bill. This is a lively and fun home with people that always enjoy a good party!
