Merwick Care and Rehabilitation in Plainsboro, NJ, joined the Eden Registry on January 12, 2017. This home was built with the EMerwickRT2lders and environment at the core. The building is LEED certified which means the folks that live and work here are helping to preserve the earth’s precious resources. The large picture windows fill the rooms with natural light and offer picturesque views of the deer grazing in the meadow and Millstone River. You’ll feel at home in the libraries, getting pampered in the salon, watching movies in the theater, or participating in days filled with activities. In the summer, many Elders enjoy sitting down by the river relaxing, and some try their luck fishing.  Care partner employees focus on tailoring care and activities to the desires of each individual.  They have divided themselves into 4 distinct neighborhoods that foster close relationships and a sense of community. If short term rehabilitation is what you seek, they won’t disappoint.  They understand that getting healthy and back to regular activities as soon as possible is a priority. Therapy often occurs outside in the therapy garden, where Elders can practice getting in and out of a parked car and walking on different textured surfaces.  If you enjoy compassion, comfort and convenience then you will love it here. If you get a tour of the homes, be sure to notice the pictures and art wall with work created by the Elders, or stop out in the back yard to see the raised flower beds and gardMerwick Children Dancingens. Merwick Care and Rehabilitation is a place to come and experience life worth living to the fullest.
