Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation in Monterey, TN, joined the Eden Alternative Registry on September 24, 2015.

When you pull into the drive of this quaint home situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small neighborhood you will be overcome with the feeling that you are home. You will be greeted by the hummingbirds, Daisy Mae the therapy dog and lots of warm, smiling faces. Elders here are smiling because they are living life in a way that is meaningful and fulfilling.

Days begin at a natural and easy pace with Elders getting together for hot cup of coffee or a friendly game of cards. In addition to delicious meals in the dining room you can visit the chef inspired snack cart where you are sure to find something to satisfy your cravings. The Standing Stone community values spiritual connection so alongside the onsite Chaplain they have started the Standing Stone Community Church. Spiritual needs are being met for many as folks from town to come in and worship with them every Sunday.

They also host weekly bible studies in addition to the Sunday services. Elder’s rooms are painted in warm neutral tones and decorated with items from their previous homes. If you have an adventuresome spirit, you will be happy because there are lots of daily adventures as well as yearly vacations to be part of.  Come by have a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful courtyard out back. They would love to have you!
