Nestled in the heart of Kentucky, Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation Center is home to 120 Elders and is supported by over 200 volunteers from the community.
Volunteers come from far and wide to be part of the rhythm of daily life and there are many ways they support the folks at Morgantown. They often come for visits, to plant and harvest raised garden beds and plan fundraisers just to name a few.
If you come for a visit you will be warmly greeted by one of the volunteers or Gidget, the dog. Elders here enjoy the meal experience because of all of the healthy choices offered to them each day including hot soups or an always available optional menu.
During the warmer months the courtyard provides a great spot for visiting with friends and family, taking a scroll around the yard or simply relaxing and enjoying all the beautiful blooming flowers.
Quality of life is a primary focus and the care partner employees go to great lengths make sure that everyone here has an opportunity to live life to fullest each and every day.
