Welcome Sagewood Continuing Care Community to the Eden Registry!

The Sagewood Continuing Care Community in Sackville, NS joined the Eden Registry on December 9, 2016. They are creating home for 50 Elders in their relaxed comfortable cottages. There are four cottages within the home with private bedrooms for each of the 12 to 13 Elders living there. Each cottage reflects the individuals that live there and has its own cozy living room, dining room, spa like bathing and access to gorgeous enclosed garden spaces.

Care partner employees are consistently assigned and dedicated to each cottage so that relationships can thrive and grow. Care partner roles are blended so that everyone participates in rhythm of daily life, such as deciding on recreation activities, preparing and serving meals, doing light housekeeping and laundry.

In the heart of the community, you will find a small streetscape town, complete with a beauty/barber shop and a place to share a cup coffee with friends and family at the Dragonfly Café.  Elders especially enjoy watching the children playing or visiting with friends in the Town Hall. The natural light from the skylights provides the benefits of sunshine without having to go outside and endure the elements. The team at the Sagewood invites you come by and experience how they are living through their mission to promote opportunities to give and receive care in a safe, supportive and innovative environment that encourages personal choice.

Looks like a gorgeous place to live!

Looks like an amazing place to live!

Amazing post. Thanks for sharing it here. Indeed, it looks like it is a great place for seniors to live. Just like this community, there are several other communities like assisted living Morris County, Senior home and many more who provide all the required amenities to seniors. Moreover, they also provide a special and independent care to dementia and Alzheimer’s patient for their fast recovery.
