What led you to The Eden Alternative®? I was introduced to the Eden Alternative back in 1999 while working at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. The Eden Alternative became a focus of my role in 2019 and I have truly enjoyed the trainings, education, and opportunities of growth that Eden provides.
What’s your superpower? Name one strength you look forward to sharing through this new role. Talking! I enjoy talking and sharing my enthusiasm for Eden through teaching and consulting. It is a pleasure to observe caregivers embrace the Eden philosophy and principles of well-being.
What excites or inspires you about The Eden Alternative? The Eden Alternative makes sense. The tools and resources available for communities through the Eden Alternative are practical, useful, and make a difference. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share these with communities and help to change the lives of elders and caregivers.
What is your most cherished simple pleasure? My most cherished simple pleasure is a hot cup of coffee, in a mug with a large handle and International Coffee vanilla creamer. I love it!
What is your role at The Eden Alternative? I am a Community Builder. I am responsible for creating connections with communities and providing consulting and education opportunities that will assist with their journey toward person-directed care.
